"Sweet Fern insists upon ample sunlight to grow, forever seeking that magical place where the forest shade gives way to an open clearing of sun rays during the day. The plant flourishes in places where others whither and is quick to colonize land that has been burnt or otherwise destroyed. When crushed, the fern's fronds cascade a surprisingly sweet scent that transports to timelessness." Nadine Artemis
