“The leaves were long, the grass was green,
The hemlock-umbels tall and fair,
And in the glade a light was seen
Of stars in shadow shimmering.
Tinuviel was dancing there
To music of a pipe unseen,
And light of stars was in her hair,
And in her raiment glimmering."

Golden Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis)
Traditional Uses: Golden jojoba oil is the closest substance in the plant realm to our skin’s natural sebum. It softens, balances oil production, deeply moisturizes and adds shine to the hair. This nourishing oil sinks effortlessly into the skin, promoting collagen synthesis and elasticity.
Origin: Organically grown in the Sonoran Desert.
Tamanu (Calophyllum inophyllum)
Traditional Uses: Cold-pressed tamanu oil is a soothing green nectar for the skin and hair. Sacred to the Polynesian people, it has been used to moisturize, even skin tone, increase the production of collagen, treat insect bites and fade scars.
Origin: The nuts are sustainably wild-harvested from trees that grow on the coastline of the island of Vanuatu, where the soil is rich in nutrients from the volcanic soil and ocean minerals.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Traditional Uses: Lavender lovingly softens, moisturizes, tones, and balances the skin. It has historically been used to soothe redness and rapidly improve cuts, scrapes and burns. It makes a dreamy perfume and calming restorative for sensitive skin.
Magical properties: As an adaptogen, lavender brings balance to the mind, body and spirit wherever it is needed. Its serene scent helps to unravel tension and soothe the nervous system.
Origin: Organically grown in Oregon.
Starflower (Borago officinalis)
Magical Properties: Starflower, also called Borage, is a beautiful plant with blue star-shaped blossoms that are a valuable source of nectar for the bees. I added this plant into Light of Eärendil for its energetic properties. Starflower has a bright fae-like presence and encourages self-confidence, tranquility, optimism and intuition.
Origin: Lovingly grown in my organic garden.
Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum)
Traditional Uses: Immortelle is a powerfully regenerative plant that has been used to calm inflammation, promote new healthy skin cell growth, even out skin tone, speed up wound healing and help keep skin hydrated.
Magical properties: The name Helichrysum comes from the Greek words helios meaning “sun” and chrysos, meaning “gold”. The clusters of small golden blossoms are distilled into a honey scented oil that is restorative for both the hröa (body) and fëa (spirit).
"A fragrance of the devine world, helichrysum opens hearts to the unseen energies that effect our lives here on earth." ~ Valerie Ann Worwood
Origin: Sustainably wild-crafted on the island of Corsica where the fragrant golden flowers grow at an elevation of 4,000ft amongst the rocky cliffs. This rare variety of Immortelle is the most beneficial and has powerful effects.
German Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)
Traditional Uses: The soothing nature of this oceanic blue essence calms, cools and protects while infusing moisture into the skin.
Magical Properties: This ancient herb is a mild sedative that promotes deep relaxation. It has the aroma of apples and springtime.
Origin: Organically grown in Bulgaria on a small farm where flowers are picked in the early morning for the highest quality distillation.
Marjoram (Origanum majorana)
Traditional Uses: Steam distilled marjoram calms the skin, eases sore muscles, balances sebum production and evens out skin tone.
Magical properties: Marjoram is a sweet and gentle herb that helps to create a serene atmosphere. It invites deep sleep, relaxation and magical dreams.
Origin: Organically grown in Egypt.
Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia)
Traditional Uses: Rich in antioxidants, vanilla reduces inflammation, protects the skin and restores its luminosity. When applied to the hair, it nourishes the follicles, increases blood flow to the scalp and adds shine to every strand.
Magical Properties: The honeyed warmth of vanilla enchants the spirit and invites sensuality into the body. The comforting aroma helps to calm the mind and create a sense of peace and well being.
Origin: This velvety C02 extract comes from an organic farm in Madagascar.
